    In the back office open Modules → Module Manager, click Upload a module, drop in the zip, then click Configure.

No module? Set Allow iframes on HTML fields to Yes under Shop Parameters → General, then paste the iframe version of the widget into Design → Pages → Source code. PrestaShop strips script tags from page content, so the plain embed code will not run there.

Where the Code Goes on PrestaShop

On PrestaShop the widget goes in through our free module, not a pasted script, because PrestaShop strips script tags from page content and text blocks.

Upload the zip under Modules → Module Manager, click Configure and paste your widget ID into Home page, Product pages or Every page, above the footer. The module prints the widget in that spot at your theme's container width. A theme developer can place one anywhere else with the module's widget tag, and a CMS page can take the iframe version once iframes are allowed on HTML fields.

If the widget does not show on PrestaShop

  • Saved the module settings but the storefront is unchanged? Clear the cache under Advanced Parameters → Performance; Smarty keeps the compiled templates.
  • Module Manager will not take the zip? The module needs PrestaShop 1.7.8 or newer. On an older shop use the iframe version in a CMS page instead.
  • The module says the ID is not valid? Copy it again from your BlooTrue dashboard. The field takes the widget ID or the whole embed code, nothing else.

Where Yelp reviews help most on PrestaShop

Local businesses that sell through PrestaShop are usually a shop with a counter as well as a website: a bakery, a bike shop, a florist.

Customers who reviewed you on Yelp mostly reviewed the visit, the service and the staff, not a single product, so the widget belongs on store-wide pages rather than product pages: the home page under the banner, the About page, and the page that explains delivery or local pickup. That last one matters most, because it is where a nearby buyer decides whether to trust you with an order. If a product review app already shows per-item stars, keep Yelp reviews off those pages so the two never get mixed up.

The Yelp widget puts your Yelp business page's recommended reviews on your site, with the star rating and count Yelp publishes for that page at the top. Yelp's recommendation software sorts every incoming review, and the ones it files as not recommended sit in a separate section at the bottom of your Yelp page, outside the public rating, so they never move your widget's number. Each card is credited to Yelp and links back to your yelp.com/biz page. A common mistake is pasting Yelp's own embed code, which shows one review in an iframe.

Why not just use Yelp's own embed code?
Because it shows one review. The Embed review button on the desktop yelp.com puts a single recommended review on your page. The widget shows many at once, with Yelp's own star rating and review count in the header and each card linked back to your listing at yelp.com/biz/your-business.
Will a Yelp review widget give me star snippets in Google results?
No. The Yelp widget deliberately adds no review schema markup, and since July 2026 Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself through a widget. You still get the reviews on your pages with Yelp's rating and count in the header; you do not get star snippets from this source.
