Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Yelp reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add Yelp Reviews to Tilda

One embed code, pasted into the T123 — HTML code block.

  1. 1

Open the page in the Tilda editor.

  2. 2

Add block → Other → T123 (HTML code) where the reviews should appear.

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the block's content field.

  4. 4

Save and publish the page — the widget renders on the published page.

The T123 block executes code only on the PUBLISHED page — the editor and preview show a stub. Publish, then check.

Where the Code Goes on Tilda

Tilda keeps custom code in the T123 block, listed under Other in the block library as HTML code. Paste the embed into the block's content field and the editor shows a plain stub for it; T123 never executes code in the editor or in preview, only on the published page. The block spans Tilda's standard grid container, and you control the space above and below it in the block's Settings tab. Because Tilda publishes pages as static HTML, every change to the block, including replacing the snippet, needs the page to be published again before visitors see it.

If the widget does not show on Tilda

  • A stub in the Tilda editor is not a failure; T123 only runs code on the published page, so click Publish and open the page's public URL.
  • If the reviews sit too close to the block above, open the T123 block's Settings tab and increase the top padding rather than editing the code.
  • Changed the snippet but the live page shows the old widget? Tilda serves the last published copy, so save the block and publish the page again.

Where Yelp reviews help most on Tilda

Local businesses on Tilda are often studios, salons, photographers and small shops whose site is mostly images. On pages like that the Yelp widget should read as part of the design: one row after the portfolio or gallery, in a style that matches the site's colours, followed by the booking or contact button. Clients choosing a stylist or a photographer look at the work first and then check that other people were happy, so that order matters. A single-page site needs only one placement. If you keep a separate booking page, a compact badge beside the calendar helps the visitor who skipped straight to it.

About Yelp reviews in this widget

The Yelp widget puts your Yelp business page's recommended reviews on your site, with the star rating and count Yelp publishes for that page at the top. Yelp's recommendation software sorts every incoming review, and the ones it files as not recommended sit in a separate section at the bottom of your Yelp page, outside the public rating, so they never move your widget's number. Each card is credited to Yelp and links back to your yelp.com/biz page. A common mistake is pasting Yelp's own embed code, which shows one review in an iframe.

Yelp Widget on Tilda — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Yelp review widget free for Tilda?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Yelp reviews on Tilda. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Tilda?
Open the page in the Tilda editor. Add block → Other → T123 (HTML code) where the reviews should appear. Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the block's content field. Save and publish the page — the widget renders on the published page.
Anything specific to Tilda worth knowing before I embed?
The T123 block executes code only on the PUBLISHED page — the editor and preview show a stub. Publish, then check.
Where should I place Yelp reviews on Tilda for the biggest lift?
Below the cover block on landing pages and above the final CTA — third-party stars carry more weight than any Tilda testimonial block.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Yelp reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Tilda again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
A customer left me a Yelp review but it is not in my widget, why?
First check whether Yelp filed it under 'not recommended' at the bottom of your Yelp page. Yelp's recommendation software keeps those reviews out of the public rating, and the widget follows the listing as Yelp shows it. On the free plan, a review posted after you built the widget waits until a paid plan refreshes it daily.
Why not just use Yelp's own embed code?
Because it shows one review. The Embed review button on the desktop yelp.com puts a single recommended review on your page. The widget shows many at once, with Yelp's own star rating and review count in the header and each card linked back to your listing at yelp.com/biz/your-business.
Will a Yelp review widget give me star snippets in Google results?
No. The Yelp widget deliberately adds no review schema markup, and since July 2026 Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself through a widget. You still get the reviews on your pages with Yelp's rating and count in the header; you do not get star snippets from this source.
