Yelp returns the most recent 3 reviews per business via the Fusion endpoint plus the aggregate star rating and review count. BlooTrue caches the response, so your site never hits Yelp directly — visitor traffic to your page does not consume Yelp API quota. Because the data comes through the official Fusion API, every review remains attributed to the original Yelp listing with a link back, which is what Yelp's display guidelines require.

Yelp's review filter and what shows up in the widget

Yelp runs an algorithmic content filter that quietly hides reviews it classifies as low-quality, suspicious, or written by users with very little Yelp activity. These “not recommended” reviews still exist on the Yelp listing under a separate tab, but the Fusion API only returns the publicly-displayed (recommended) set.
