Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Clutch reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add Clutch Reviews to Squarespace

Connect your Clutch profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Code Block on Squarespace and publish. Code Blocks exist on every Squarespace plan, but JavaScript and iframes only render on Core, Plus, Advanced, Business and Commerce. Not Personal.

  1. 1

Open the page in the Squarespace editor.

  2. 2

Add a block and choose Code.

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code (leave type as HTML).

  4. 4

Save — the widget renders on the live page (preview may show a placeholder).

The editor shows Code Blocks as a gray placeholder — the widget renders on the published page.

Where the Code Goes on Squarespace

In Squarespace the embed code goes into a Code Block, added from the block menu on the page with the type left as HTML. The editor shows a Code Block as a gray placeholder, so you never see the reviews inside the editor; they render on the live page after you save.

The block fills the width of its column in the section grid and expands to the widget's height. A Code Block is per page, and Code Injection under Settings is the site-wide alternative, but it puts code in the header or footer rather than in the page body.

If the widget does not show on Squarespace

  • If the live page shows nothing, check your plan; JavaScript in Code Blocks does not render on the Personal plan.
  • If the editor shows a gray box, that is normal; Squarespace renders Code Blocks on the published page only.
  • If the code appears as text, confirm the Code Block type is set to HTML, not Markdown.

Where Clutch reviews help most on Squarespace

An agency site on Squarespace is judged on its portfolio, and the Clutch widget works best right after the work: at the end of the case studies page and under the portfolio grid on the home page.

Visitors look at the projects, then want to know whether the clients behind them were happy, and Clutch answers with reviews tied to real engagements. The contact or Start a project page is the second placement, beside the brief form. Service pages can carry a compact version. Keep the widget off the careers page, where it speaks to the wrong reader entirely.

About Clutch reviews in this widget

With the Clutch widget, the client reviews from your Clutch profile appear on your site, under the overall rating out of 5 and review count Clutch publishes. Clutch reviews are not quick star ratings. They come from interviews with your clients that a Clutch analyst verifies before publication, so each one reads like a short case study, the proof B2B service firms rely on. Site owners err by expecting a free widget to add the next interview the day Clutch publishes it. A free widget holds the interviews present when you created it; only paid plans check Clutch daily.

Clutch Widget on Squarespace — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Clutch review widget free for Squarespace?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Clutch reviews on Squarespace. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Squarespace?
Open the page in the Squarespace editor. Add a block and choose Code. Paste the BlooTrue embed code (leave type as HTML). Save — the widget renders on the live page (preview may show a placeholder). Code Blocks exist on every Squarespace plan, but JavaScript and iframes only render on Core, Plus, Advanced, Business and Commerce. Not Personal.
Anything specific to Squarespace worth knowing before I embed?
The editor shows Code Blocks as a gray placeholder — the widget renders on the published page.
Where should I place Clutch reviews on Squarespace for the biggest lift?
An empty full-width section under the intro — Squarespace's spacing frames the reviews cleanly.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Clutch reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Squarespace again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
Which Clutch link do I give BlooTrue?
Your company profile on Clutch, which lives at clutch.co/profile/your-company. That page carries the overall rating, the review count and the verified client reviews the widget reads. Paste it into the builder, pick a layout and copy the single embed line onto the pages where prospects evaluate your firm.
Are the reviews in the widget the analyst-verified interviews from Clutch?
Yes. The widget shows the client reviews published on your Clutch profile, and Clutch publishes a review only after verifying the client interview behind it. Nothing is added or reworded by BlooTrue; what a client told the Clutch analyst is what your prospects read on your site, under the rating Clutch assigns.
Where does the number at the top of my Clutch widget come from?
From your Clutch profile. Clutch publishes an overall rating out of 5 and a review count for each company, and BlooTrue shows those two figures as Clutch reports them. It never averages the interviews in the widget to make a new number, so the header cannot drift from what your Clutch profile says.
