Jimdo Creator renders the element straight away, so after you confirm the paste the reviews show on the live page without a separate publish step. The element spans the content column, and it grows to whatever height the widget needs. Because Jimdo Creator edits the live site directly, anything you paste is public as soon as you confirm it, so have the code ready before you add the element.

If the widget does not show on Jimdo

  • If the reviews do not appear after confirming, check that you added the 'Widget / HTML' element rather than a Text element, which does not run scripts.
  • Jimdo Creator publishes edits instantly, so if the widget looks wrong, remove the element right away and paste the code again cleanly.
  • Homepage shows the reviews but subpages do not? In Jimdo Creator a 'Widget / HTML' element belongs to one page, so repeat it where needed.
