How to Add Google Play Reviews to SITE123

Where the Code Goes on SITE123

SITE123 offers no HTML element inside its regular sections, so the embed gets a page of its own.

In the dashboard open Pages, add a page of the Custom Code type, name it Reviews, and paste the snippet into the code area. That area is a plain text box with no live rendering, so you see the reviews only after publishing. The widget fills the page's content column and sets its own height. Settings → Plugins offers a site-wide slot instead, but code placed there loads on every page of the site rather than one chosen spot.

If the widget does not show on SITE123

  • If you pasted into a normal text section and see nothing, that section cannot run HTML. Move the code to a Custom Code page.
  • A Reviews page that prints the code as text has the wrong page type. Recreate it as a Custom Code page, not a standard page.
  • When the widget appears on every page instead of one, it was added under Settings → Plugins. Remove it there and use a Custom Code page.
