Where the Code Goes on Kartra

Kartra holds the embed code in a Custom Code (HTML) component from the page builder's component list.

The builder sandboxes some scripts in its preview, so the component may show a frame or nothing while you edit; the reviews render on the published page. The component follows the width of the column it sits in, and its height is whatever the widget needs. Kartra sales pages and checkout pages are separate pages, so a widget above the offer stack and one beside the payment form are two components, each holding the same code.

If the widget does not show on Kartra

  • A blank Custom Code component in the Kartra builder preview is the preview sandbox at work. Publish, then open the live page URL to check the reviews.
  • Make sure you chose Custom Code (HTML), not a text component. A Kartra text component prints the script as plain characters instead of running it.
  • Reviews on the sales page but missing at checkout? Kartra checkout pages are built separately, so drop a second Custom Code component beside the payment form.
