Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Expedia reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

The same widget, built from whichever platform your reviews live on. Free plan on every one.

How to Add Expedia Reviews to ClickFunnels

Connect your Expedia profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Custom JS/HTML element on ClickFunnels and publish.

  1. 1

Open the funnel page in the ClickFunnels editor.

  2. 2

Add an element and choose Custom JS/HTML (Misc elements).

  3. 3

Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the code box.

  4. 4

Save — the widget renders on the published funnel page.

The editor shows a code placeholder; ClickFunnels renders the widget on the live page and in Preview only.

Where the Code Goes on ClickFunnels

In ClickFunnels the embed code goes into a Custom JS/HTML element, added from the Misc elements group in the funnel page editor and opened to reveal its code box.

The editor canvas displays a code placeholder rather than the running widget; the reviews render in Preview and on the live page only. The element fills the width of the row or column it sits in and takes its height from the widget. A Custom JS/HTML element belongs to one page, so a sales page and its order form step each need their own element if both should show reviews.

If the widget does not show on ClickFunnels

  • If the editor shows a code placeholder, that is expected; use Preview or the live funnel URL to see the reviews.
  • If the order form step has no reviews, add a Custom JS/HTML element on that step; elements do not carry across steps.
  • If the live page is unchanged, click Save in the editor; ClickFunnels serves the last saved version of the page.

Where Expedia reviews help most on ClickFunnels

Hotels and rentals use ClickFunnels for campaign pages: a direct-booking offer, a seasonal package, a wedding or group enquiry.

The visitor came from an ad and knows nothing about you, so the Expedia widget belongs high on the page, straight under the offer and before the gallery. Guest reviews answer what a photo cannot: was it clean, did the host reply, was the location what the listing promised. On an enquiry page, put it beside the form. On a direct-booking offer, show the same guests and the same score the visitor would find on Expedia, so booking direct feels as safe as booking through the platform. One placement per campaign page is enough.

About Expedia reviews in this widget

The Expedia widget shows the guest reviews from your property's Expedia page, with the guest rating and review count Expedia publishes in the header. Expedia lets only travelers who booked through Expedia and completed the stay leave a review, so every review in the widget comes from an actual stay. The mistake hoteliers make is expecting feedback from guests who booked direct to turn up here. It cannot; a review that was never posted on Expedia is not in the widget. The header is Expedia's own figure, not an average of the reviews shown.

Expedia Widget on ClickFunnels — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Expedia review widget free for ClickFunnels?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Expedia reviews on ClickFunnels. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on ClickFunnels?
Open the funnel page in the ClickFunnels editor. Add an element and choose Custom JS/HTML (Misc elements). Paste the BlooTrue embed code into the code box. Save — the widget renders on the published funnel page.
Anything specific to ClickFunnels worth knowing before I embed?
The editor shows a code placeholder; ClickFunnels renders the widget on the live page and in Preview only.
Where should I place Expedia reviews on ClickFunnels for the biggest lift?
Sales pages directly above the order button, and on the order form step beside the payment fields.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Expedia reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching ClickFunnels again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
Which Expedia page do I paste to pull my property's reviews?
Your property's own page on Expedia. Its address ends with a number after .h and the words Hotel-Information, for example expedia.com/City-Hotels-Your-Property.h123456.Hotel-Information. That page holds the guest rating and the traveler reviews the widget reads. Paste it, choose a layout and copy the embed onto your booking page.
Does the number at the top of the Expedia widget match my Expedia page?
It is the guest rating and review count Expedia publishes for your property, copied rather than recalculated, so it matches the page as of the widget's last read. On the free plan that read happened when you created the widget; paid plans read the page daily, so the header follows your Expedia rating as new stays are reviewed.
Can the Expedia widget give my hotel page star rich snippets in Google?
No. Google's review-snippet rules exclude reviews a business shows about itself through an embedded widget. Paid plans still add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD with your Expedia guest rating and review count to the page, which search engines and AI assistants can read if the embed is rendered inline; inside a sandboxed iframe it is invisible to them. The free plan adds no markup.
