Where the Code Goes on Wix Studio

In Wix Studio the embed code goes into an Embed HTML element, reached through Add elements, then Embed, then Embed HTML, where you paste the code and apply it.

Wix Studio uses the same sandbox as classic Wix: the element is a fixed-size iframe, so it does not grow with the reviews. You size the frame for each breakpoint, desktop, tablet and mobile, or the widget scrolls inside its box. The editor shows a live preview inside the frame. Because the widget is isolated in that iframe, anything it adds, including structured data, is not in the host page's DOM.

If the widget does not show on Wix Studio

  • If the reviews scroll inside a box, the embed frame is too short; resize it on that breakpoint to the widget's full height.
  • If the desktop version looks right but mobile is clipped, switch to the mobile breakpoint and resize the Embed HTML element there.
  • If the live site shows the old layout, click Publish; Wix Studio does not push editor changes automatically.

The header is Expedia's own figure, not an average of the reviews shown.
