Review schema markup, on paid plans

Paid widgets add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page they sit on, so search engines and AI answer engines can read your Expedia reviews as structured data. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself, so the gain is readability, not stars. The free plan shows the reviews without the schema. See how the schema works

How to Add Expedia Reviews to Kajabi

Connect your Expedia profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Custom Code block on Kajabi and publish.

  1. 1

Open the page in the Kajabi page builder.

  2. 2

Add a Custom Code block from the sections panel.

  3. 3

    Paste the BlooTrue embed code.

  4. 4

Save — the widget renders on the published page.

Custom code renders on the live page; the builder canvas shows a placeholder frame.

Where the Code Goes on Kajabi

Kajabi's page builder takes the embed in a Custom Code block that you add from the sections panel.

The canvas draws a placeholder frame for it rather than the reviews, so open the published page to see the widget. The block stretches to the section's content width and takes its height from the reviews once rendered. Kajabi themes apply their own section padding and background to the block, so match the section background to the widget style you picked. Kajabi keeps website pages, landing pages and product sales pages separate, so add the block on each page that needs it.

If the widget does not show on Kajabi

  • The Kajabi builder canvas shows a frame with no reviews inside. That is the placeholder; open the published page to see them.
  • If the block shows raw code text on the live page, the snippet went into a Text block. Move it to a Custom Code block.
  • Reviews missing on one sales page but present on another: Custom Code blocks are per page in Kajabi. Add the block to each page.

Where Expedia reviews help most on Kajabi

A course platform is an odd home for guest reviews, and it suits one kind of host: the one who teaches.

A host selling a course on running short-term rentals, or a hotelier teaching hospitality, can use Expedia reviews as proof that the method works on a real property. Put the widget on the course sales page next to the instructor section, with a line saying which property the reviews belong to. Students are buying your track record, and a score earned from guests on Expedia shows it better than a testimonial you typed yourself. Keep it off the lesson pages inside Kajabi; enrolled students have already bought.

About Expedia reviews in this widget

The Expedia widget shows the guest reviews from your property's Expedia page, with the guest rating and review count Expedia publishes in the header. Expedia lets only travelers who booked through Expedia and completed the stay leave a review, so every review in the widget comes from an actual stay. The mistake hoteliers make is expecting feedback from guests who booked direct to turn up here. It cannot; a review that was never posted on Expedia is not in the widget. The header is Expedia's own figure, not an average of the reviews shown.

Expedia Widget on Kajabi — FAQ

Is the BlooTrue Expedia review widget free for Kajabi?
Yes. BlooTrue is completely free to embed Expedia reviews on Kajabi. No plugin, no recurring fee, unlimited views. The free plan shows your reviews with BlooTrue branding in the footer; paid plans remove the branding.
How do I install the widget on Kajabi?
Open the page in the Kajabi page builder. Add a Custom Code block from the sections panel. Paste the BlooTrue embed code. Save — the widget renders on the published page.
Anything specific to Kajabi worth knowing before I embed?
Custom code renders on the live page; the builder canvas shows a placeholder frame.
Where should I place Expedia reviews on Kajabi for the biggest lift?
Course sales pages under the curriculum accordion — reviews close the enroll decision.
Do the reviews stay up to date automatically?
Paid plans auto-sync your Expedia reviews daily, so the widget always shows your latest 5-star reviews without touching Kajabi again. The free plan shows the reviews imported at setup.
Which Expedia page do I paste to pull my property's reviews?
Your property's own page on Expedia. Its address ends with a number after .h and the words Hotel-Information, for example expedia.com/City-Hotels-Your-Property.h123456.Hotel-Information. That page holds the guest rating and the traveler reviews the widget reads. Paste it, choose a layout and copy the embed onto your booking page.
Does the number at the top of the Expedia widget match my Expedia page?
It is the guest rating and review count Expedia publishes for your property, copied rather than recalculated, so it matches the page as of the widget's last read. On the free plan that read happened when you created the widget; paid plans read the page daily, so the header follows your Expedia rating as new stays are reviewed.
Can the Expedia widget give my hotel page star rich snippets in Google?
No. Google's review-snippet rules exclude reviews a business shows about itself through an embedded widget. Paid plans still add schema.org Review and AggregateRating JSON-LD with your Expedia guest rating and review count to the page, which search engines and AI assistants can read if the embed is rendered inline; inside a sandboxed iframe it is invisible to them. The free plan adds no markup.
