How to Add TripAdvisor Reviews to Lodgify

Connect your TripAdvisor profile in BlooTrue, pick a style, then paste one embed code into the Raw HTML widget on Lodgify and publish.

The widget does not render inside the Lodgify editor, only on the published site — click Publish website and open the live URL before deciding it did not work.

Where the Code Goes on Lodgify

Lodgify keeps page content in its own website builder rather than a theme, so the embed goes in as a widget: open Website then Pages, pick the page, click Add new widget and choose Raw HTML. Paste the code into the field, save, then drag the block to where it belongs on the page.

The block takes the width of the column it sits in and grows with the reviews. Nothing renders inside the editor, so the page has to be published before the widget appears.

If the widget does not show on Lodgify

  • The widget is invisible in the Lodgify editor by design. Click Publish website and open the live URL before assuming the paste failed.
  • If the block is on the page but empty on the live site, reopen the Raw HTML widget and check the whole snippet is there — both the div and the script line.
  • If it shows on one page only, remember the widget is per page in Lodgify: repeat the paste on each property page you want it on.

For a small hotel, B&B or holiday rental, the Lodgify site is the brochure, and the booking engine is either built in or linked from it.

Two places count. The home page, just under the hero photo, is where a visitor who found you on TripAdvisor checks that you are the same place with the same score. The rooms or property page, right above the Book now button, is where they decide. If the site has a page per room or per unit, the widget can repeat on each. Skip the contact and directions pages: a guest looking up your address has usually booked already, and the reviews there only push the map down.

Your TripAdvisor widget shows the traveler reviews from your TripAdvisor listing, each with the traveler's 1 to 5 bubbles. The summary at the top is the listing's overall bubble rating and review count, as reported by TripAdvisor, which is not your ranking position: a listing at '#3 of 120 restaurants' still shows its bubbles, not a 3. Travelers write reviews on the listing without booking through TripAdvisor, and TripAdvisor's own Review Snippets are small badges with little styling control. Hoteliers sometimes expect the Travelers' Choice award in the header; the widget shows reviews and the bubble rating.
